Every Video (Résumé)
2014
Every Video (Résumé) condenses every freelance video project I have edited through 2014 into one minute. Many videos are overlaid on top of one another creating a ghostly world in muted tones with momentary glimpses of a subject before it recedes into the frenetic sea of textures. Some videos are slowed to one minute, many are sped up to that duration (one minute being the simplest unit of time as well as a more palatable duration for the contemporary viewer). As a result, Every Video (Résumé) offers the viewer a quick and easy way to view my qualifications as a filmmaker, and it gives me the opportunity to ponder my creative purpose in the world.
